Where is the 6 degree ignition retard part on the 126?

I've read the many times responded to post about free hp by removing the part that retards ignition by 6 degrees. Since I run premium fuel, I'd be happy to remove it to judge for myself the results. But I can't find it anywhere. If anyone knows where it is on my '88 300SE I'd appreciate it if you let me know.
