Dean,
I have considerable, um, "flying" time, and think your air cells may be on their way out. My rear end is rock solid at virtually any speed, but the front could use more damping...gonna install early 500E front struts sometime in the near future

Michael: I'm impressed with your buns 'o steel (rear end is rock solid ) but I'm wondering if you've experienced the situation of taking a curve at +150 and hitting a road bump...that is when I get that bit of wiggle in the rear suspension.
I'll have those air cells checked at next service, though...can't hurt. BTW, what speed does your 6,300rpm translate into? Cheers,

Dean,
Quite frankly, I don't know. Your guess is likely better than mine

Well, assuming we share the same gearing...you should have been travelling nearly 165mph at 6,300rpm!
Also, the engine would need to reach around 6,550rpm to hit 171mph. What fun
