Driveshaft length info
Has anyone Come up with a resource to find out what ____ chassis driveshaft lengths may be? I'm getting closer to starting trying to put my w123 wagon/om606/ 716.668 6 speed together and the only thing I don't have is a driveshaft. The 6 speed uses the newer approx 2001 and up(to at least 05 or so) 6 cyl and 4 matic v8 size drive flange. So I've gotta find a front half from a 4 matic w220 or a 6 cyl e class (maybe anything non v8 from that era) that will matchup with a rear half from a v8 w126/116 or c107 or possibly something else like a w124 or r129 to get the right length. The input on the diff can be swapped around between the 210mm and I've got 8 bolt, 6 bolt big v8 and smaller 6cly versions. I'll be using a 3.46 LSD from a w116 so maybe I get lucky on the rear half there and then go jy searching. It's just a ***** to measure them without removing 10 layers of crap and its a bit of a drive. I can re mount the center bearing wherever it needs to fall.

Thank you. That doesn't really help though. I'm going to need to put two halves of two driveshafts together and get them within about 15mm of what would be considered the "correct" length if this combination ever came in a car from the factory.
