I have a 2002 clk 430, i was wondering if they had a street version body/ground effects kit of the clk dtm race car. If they dont where i could go to get something like this custom done. I just need to be pointed in the right direction, because ive been all over the internet and i cant find anything, the only body kits I can find are of course the AMG and Brabus ones. Here is a picture of what iam talking about

iam gonna load up some more pics there really cool. i know there some people out there that built up there clk to look like this i just need to know how they did it

Have you checked out renntech, theyre a good high quality distributer. Theyre body kit is not exactly like what you had in mind, but i have an idea about where you can get it. All you have to do is find a contact who knows the suppliers of the racecars (the dtm) they can probly direct you to someone who can sell the body panels and the like. I'm also sure that this endevour of yours will cost more money than the car is worth, but if you have it to spare go for it... and make sure to upload pictures if and when you do this....

I could do the work using local guys. Do you want it fast as well, or just to look good?

hey thanks for the replys, do you know if i would have to do anything to the chasis? i dont know that much about the mechanics, but i know that there would be a lot of enternal work done. the specs on the mercedes d2 amg (DTM) have 10 inch width tires in the front and 12 inches in the back hint the fender flairs on the car i dont think i want to go that extreme cause it will be for the street. but i am willing to spend top $ to get it close to that.

right now just to look good. in the near future i'll prob put a blower on it or maybe a turbo, what do think would be better. So if you can do this drop me an email and we can talk more deaply into the process it would take.

I love the DTM body. If you put it on your car, I will have to see it in person. I always loved the mercedes DTM bodies. Even the 202 C class with the DTM body on it for ITC racing was amazing looking.

Man on man I am drooling over the pics.

If I saw that thing on the street I'd probably have my eyes pop outta my head.

I think the parts for the body are only supplied to factory or privateer AMG race cars...but if you got the cash then I don't see why you couldn't fanagle a kit for yourself...try e-mailing Affalterbach directly and maybe tell them you are building a race car for the North American tracks.
