2003 CL55 AMG Kompressor Limp Mode.
Hello guys, My problems started 3 days after I got my car back from the mechanic. The car was being repaired for the shift linkage coming lose or apart. after 3 days of the car running and shifting fine i went to the car wash, when i was leaving I noticed the car not shifting right so I pulled over turned the ignition off waited for a minute then restarted the car was now in Limp Mode. The Shift Mode Selector Switch on the center consol wasn't working either and their was a Check Engine Light on now also when i started to see what the problem was i noticed that both engine fuse box lids were not locked down. I bought a code reader and it indicates code 0748 Pressure Control Solenoid. After reading more information about the 722.636 Transmission I learned about the electrail conection to the transmission could leak fluid, I check it and sure enough it was leaking I cleaned it and reinstall it. I also read that the Shift Mode Selector Switch on the center consol sents information to the TCU which in turns sents it to the Shift and Pressure Control Soleniods, before i start throwing cash buying Soleniods and other parts, is it possable for the TCU to have Transmission fluid in it. and if so can you tell me where it is located. Thank you.

On my w140 trans fluid can wick up the cable to computers.Spray electrical cleaner blow dry,and let sit a couple hours then your car should be ok,If that is the case.
