What you have to be careful of is the #1 runner's proximity to the water pump, and to a lesser extent #6's proximity to the oil filter.

Small update on sedan build.
Underbody and rear axle is renewed, now starting on fun stuff.
Started to make new manifold. Next will be intake plumming. Wiring loom is allready done.
After exhaust and intake is finished ill take gearbox and engine out for overhaul.
I tried to make manifold runners as short as possible for better spool and keep twin entry. Planning to use two 38mm wastegates.

After welding ill sandblast it and coat with heat proof paint.
My first manifold so dont be too hard.

Some progress. Wiring mostly done, have to connect fuel lines and then can try startup. First start will be n/a, missing some turbo parts, wg's and oil lines.

Small progress. First start is done. Next ill install oe exhaust and do first tune. After that ill have to pull head off, change gasket, chain guides etc, small maintanance.
And then i can do some turbo things.

Video - https://youtube.com/shorts/Rm137yu31jg

Beside garage time i got myself a 3d printer. I made new injector seats, tps adapter. Some other parts coming also. Right now i used ABS, but i have ordered nilon, i think thats best option.

Little bit work done, got my fuel and brake lines replaced. Got it running pretty good but didnt had time to put it all together in summet. Il skip the n/a and do some turbo stuff.
I got my wastegates, 2x38mm. Also turbo piping, now i need turbo exhaust flange.

Also i made speeduino for educational purposes. Havent decided what to do with that.
I have one m102
VR and map missing from picture.

More and more I kinda want to turbo my 16V, and maybe turbo my 300SEL if I can ultimately keep it.

In garage is temperatuure below freezing so no thing much happening.
But im not just sitting. Got speeduino running, made harness for that.

I hope to install it in january on my 230E.

Also made 36-1 trigger wheel and bracket for m103. If theres intrest, i can make more. Also ill have to make bracket for m102 too.

Trigger wheel, im waiting that from shop to be cuted.

Bracket for sensor.

Printed in ABS, came out really good. Can be made in aluminium, have to change design bit.

M103 is right now on hold, in garage is below freezing so im waiting bit warmer weather.

Few weekends ago i did m102 efi swap.
I used saab h-engine fuel rail and injectors, they fit perfectly. Just had to do custom mounts.
I havent figured out what i do with tps. There are no room to use more modern sensor, maybe i lift whole assembly.
But right now im happy that my speedy works.
Never done that kind of soldering.
