I intend to replace my OEM fuel injectors with perhaps some aftermarket "performance" fuel injectors in my 1983 W126 (280SEL). However, I have scant knowledge of fuel injectors, especially in the aspect of performance enhancing.
Do you think it is worth the buck? Or are they really beneficial? Mervyn |

PURE hype as these injectors can flow enough fuel to make a 500SEL run rich!!

Doc,
shouldn't that be a 'NOT' as in: PURE hype as these injectors can NOT flow enough fuel to make a 500SEL run rich!! [Edited by JimF on 03-15-2001 at 11:51 AM] |

Don't bother, they will disappoint you. Instead, consider having your injectors, or a new set of stock injectors, flow tested, balanced and matched. When you have a new set of matched injectors there will be a difference in performance you can feel and they will be the right ones for your engine.
