2 cars FS: 1971 low-grill 280se coupe & 1972 280se 4.5
Hi all,
I need to move these cars as I am completing my 3.5 coupe restoration and don't have the space/time/money to finish these. --> The 280se coupe is a low grille. Excellent candidate. Has some rust in the rear driver side quarterpanel (at the bottom). A small portion of the trunk floor need attention. First $2200 gets it! Pics: --> The 280se 4.5 is a gem. One owner since day one. It was purchased by the original owner in the Fall of 1971 in Stuttgart. The valve job was done in the mid 80's (about 25K miles since), which is detailed in the records. Interior is good. Other replaced item: the cap, rotor, points/condenser, plugs, battery, and fuel pump. It runs and drives.. Minor rust is in the typical areas of the doors, truck, fenders, flooring - typical condition for Northeast Ohio. (not that bad... though). Mechanically, it's neat! The car has been stored for the last several years in a garage, and was not driven -- except occasionally starting it and keeping it "alive".The pneumatic door locks work, but over time the air does purge from the system. First $2200 gets it! Pics: Location Silver Spring MD |

Interested in the coupe ['71 280se] I am in california and cannot exactly make several trips to see the car. However I am prepared to rely on you to tell me the condition of this car.
1). Does it run, i.e. is the motor/tranny/drive train okay? 2). Do you have all documentation? 3). Do you have other pics of in/out of the car? and lastly is your price negotiable considereing I'll have to ship it to California and probably do a tear down restoration??? Thanks.
