I just saw the best looking 123 300CD turbo I've ever seen and it is for sale. It is in Austin, Tx. it has 78K miles on it, is owned by a woman, and is in great shape. The story is that she wants $11k for it but the man at the shop where the car is told her that she would never get that for it so she might be open for dealing.

It is a one Owner and very low miles.

Paint is done. Etched everywhere, chipped, fading around the gas area.
Seals are looking old.
Cracking in driver's seat MB tex
Oxidized wheels
Dirty engine bay, oxidized like a Northern car, leaks in all the usual places.
A few trim pieces missing.

Runs great, perfect dash and beautiful wood.

Seems like a $4000-6000 car to me if that.

I said I thought it was good looking and in good shape. For a 30 year old car that has withstood Texas summers it is not doing too badly.

It certainly is not worth $11k. Like you I think $5k would be a good buy.
