Radiator flushed
New thermostat

What the car needs but not right away:
Clear coat peeling on hood (Paint????)

Why do you still have this? Looks fine to me, and your price isn't out of line.

That is a great car for somebody who has a kid driving or fixing to be driving. In about 3 years I hope I run across a similar deal....

The model of the car isn't posted anywhere by the seller, nor by any of the posters in this thread, so to save you the trouble of clicking on the pics, it is a 300E.

FYI, car sellling 101, it is always a good idea to post the model of the car, along with the year.

Not in a wreck, so why the salvage title, or don't you know? If you do know, you should say why. I'd never buy a flood car, no matter what. Just trying to help, not beat you down.

If a car is stolen, and the insurance pays out on the claim, the car when subsequently recovered is owned by the insurance company and regardless of the condition or completeness of the car, if it is resold, it will have a salvaged title.

Salvage title can be a deal breaker, but occasionally the car is not compromised.

Still, some insurance companies will not insure a car with a salvage title, so buyer beware.

First dont write that crap on my post. Ive owned alot of salvage title never had a insurance company turn me down. Just ask why the title is salvaged. Thats why i got a carfax report. Im the third owner. In 2000 it failed smog then they donated it to the junkyard by CA law it must go to junk title. Junk yard sold it to the previous owner which turned it to salvage title then I bought it. Its all in the carfax report. Its been a local CA car its whole life. Salvage title has a bad name cause people assume wreck or flood. Get a carfax!

It's now pretty obvious why the car hasn't sold. i would think if someone wanted to sell something they would be a tad more agreeable. No problem pointing out your facts, but the fact is salvage titles are harder to insure and certainly harder to sell. Whatever the car would sell for without a salvage title should now be about 2/3 the value. Good luck and maybe aproach the sale as a salesperson and not the owner of the car. Thanks
