Ok guys,

I've got a 1985 Euro Wagon up for sale. I am not kidding when I tell you how nice this one is. Let's start here. VIN WDB1231931f056583. Wagon is Silver (735) with blue MB tex interior. The Russian website will tell you it has ABS brakes but it does not. What it does have is 3rd row seat, Roof cross bars, front skid plate (1st time I saw that), roll down windows. I have the original title which shows 8 miles on the odometer. I have spent a lot of time detailing and the more I detail the better this things gets. The paint is original minus the 3 spots I have fixed (r/f "a"pillar, l/r window under trim, r/f fender) these spots did have some MINOR rust ( size of penny, surface). I've never seen another wagon that is this solid. The rockers, untouched. The quarters, fenders, tailgate, etc NO RUST. Mechanically, the a/c functions (converted, when dunno) other than no other problems. It even has the original stickers on the valve cover and fan shroud. Paint is in very good condition. Interior other than one small crack on one of the defroster outlets and one small abrasion on drivers back the interior is Perfect. Other people (mechanics) have seen this car and are amazed at its condition. It now has 251,000 on the clock but it is hard to believe it. I am trying to confirm mileage, via original owners but as far as MD is concerned it has 251,000. Also am going to recharge a/c, new/used right front rubber surround (torn) and (2) rear headrests.

This was a grey market car and has NOT been federalize and molested with all of the crap they hang on these cars.

I do not have any service records. The people that owned this car obviously took meticulous care of it. I am trying to find out if they still have any of the records.

Try to find out who they took it to for service.....go there and ask, plead, BEG for the service records. Take in donuts. Offer to buy lunch. Pay for the service records.

If car has not been federalized, shouldn't the odometer read in Km? It shows mph - A Euro car wouldn't have that, would it, unless it had been modified for use in USA?

The back loos pretty nice, Donny. I think you should bring it up to Chambersburg tomorrow to the GTG so we can get a closer look at it.
