95 S420 135K miles $9000 SF Bay Area
The verdict is in so I'm letting go of the S420. Really wonderful to drive but ultimately not as fun to work on as the SDL. I commute ~5000 miles a year and there isn't time to enjoy both.
I'll consider a 90s Diesel passenger vehicle in trade. 230E/TE with BAR tags. Maybe a 92-up Camry or 98-up Accord 4-banger AT which a relative can use. The cardinal rule of used MBs is records. All I have is the service booklet stamped through the 105K service and my recollection of what I've done since I got it with 129K miles. If that bothers you, this isn't the car for you.
