If you live in Lawrence and have a 70's or 80's MB (or any car for that matter), Fred the Mobile Mechanic (I think technically he runs "Campus Automotive") might be able to help. He's very knowledgeable and honest. Also, he isn't just a Mechanic, he's a KU educated Mechanical Engineer; he really knows what he is doing. He comes to you in his van and can do various work, all things that can be done in a driveway/parking lot of course. I've had him do a brake master cylinder on my SL, new pads and rotors on a Volvo, and help get my stubborn old MB diesel started.
