Lightbulb 2010 Mercedes-Benz GLK350 4Matic: Looking back to go forward

Most people would agree that there are only a limited number of ways you can cut the compact SUV. With crash and safety regulations, there are restraints on what carmakers can achieve in terms of shape, size and layout.

Absolutely beautiful!

Nice and boxy, just the way I like my MBs.

When do they stop being SUV's and start being station wagons?

I mean this thing crossed that line and should be an AWD wagon...

I agree and that's probably why I like it so much. Look at the driver in the one pic. It seems like it's a bit larger than other AWD wagons I've seen ... or the driver in that pic is really small.

spec-friggin'-tacular!!!

Now, if I hadn't pumped like 10K into my '92 300SE in the last two years, I'd have a decent down payment, and then a note necklace for 60 months...

Nevermind - I'll keep my old W140 and no payments. Maybe I can find a rich friend that wants a beautiful car - then I can convince them to loan it to me occasionally if they'll let me wash it....

Boy, do I sound pathetic/needy or what???

I'd rather just have a wagon than any of these crossover vehicles. If not a wagon, then a pure tee SUV like a G Wagen.
