Dead injector lines?
So i fire up my SDL after a few weeks sitting. idles slightly rougher than before, but still idles fine without giving it throttle. Felt injector lines and could definitely feel the pulsing of fuel in #'s 1,2,3,&6. 4&5 are "cold", if you will. Im sure if i put my I.R. Temp gun on the manifold outlets, i could verify if they arent firing. Its labor day, and didnt want to do anything tho! Just wondering if anyone could tell me if thats a accurate way of testing which cylinders are recieving fuel, or if for some wacky reason only a few run at idle? I honestly dont know.

Hi,
could be simply air in some lines could be sticking delivery valves could be sticking/not correctly working nozzles could be a combination of a.m. I guess after a few seconds all cylinders come up? Temperature of the exhaust header of each cylinder is a good indication. Tom |

That is what i figured. The car isnt registered, but as soon as paperwork is in order i'll have to give it a good looking over at my shop. would this be a situation where lines (4&5) could be loosened and bled of air? And if only fuel comes out most likely injector nozzles?

first run it for some time. Then see if it still happens.
It seems that 4&5 don't keep fuel. In that case I bet delivery valves. Tom |
