Too much.
You can buy completely running 240Ds for $500 anytime. Owners throw in the towel due to rust problems and routinely they go for peanuts. Cinderella was a $450 car and she runs and shifts great. She needs a new floor pan (spring is almost here) and then she's road-worthy.  Ken300D
