Update, no timing chain stretch
I checked my timing chain for stretch yesterday and there wasn't any. Good thing I checked. Now I'm back to square one and I have no idea what's wrong.
Photos of my timing chain results are here: OK, so I'm thinking about changing the timing chain...

I would insure the injection timing is set correctly and if it cold starts good/fast after that I would just drive it.
I imagine that the wife was glad she did not have to help with the chain.

My timing is set correctly at least as correctly as it will set. The car does start cold but I have to keep my foot on the accelerator to keep it from stalling. I drive two footed until it's warmed up enough. Maybe I'm just being too picky but I can't change my noisy injectors otherwise. Sounds like I'm just going to live with it and call it good enough. It gets me from point A to point B and that's the way it should be. It's just I wish I could do something to find out what the problem really is. Maybe its just that nut that's behind the steering wheel.
I didn't have to run the idea by my wife but I'm sure she would have agreed to help out. She does show some minor interest in working on cars.

I hate to suggest another tool but next time you have the injectors out try to pull the pre-chambers and clean/inspect them. I have seen the hold down locknut on the prechamber be loose and the car run pretty badly. Clean and inspect the prechambers if you ever get a chance.

I'll keep the pre-chamber check in mind. I might have the tools to check them. Is there anything I should be careful with if I try to pull them out?

I recall seeing your prior post regarding the compression. Seems low on #4 or #5? If the performance problems apply to both hot and cold engine, low compression will do it.
Some peolple suggest crack open the fuel nut at the injector and see which one does not produce the same "rough running" effect. You can also check the archive for more clue to isolate the "problem" cylinder.

My compression number on #5 is a little on the low side. I haven't performed a compression check while I've owned it but I have tried cracking the injector lines at the injectors while it was running. It ran a lot rougher each time I cracked one open. I was able to isolate the noisy injector that I have doing that. Today, I'm thinking about seeing if I can pick up one used injector from one of the wrecking yards in the area, that's if they have any 300D turbos.
