Thanks guys... great information..... I did take chemistry in 1971... and was really proud of getting a ' C'....so I remember the litmus paper... and I did not realize this was a ' routing of the car's electricity ' problem... as compared to just being acid or alkali and causing a eating away of the metal ....I just acquired a digital mulitmeter.. so I am going to go try every machine I have with this test....
