E 98 or 99 Diesels
Thanks everyone for the input about the CDI query, since I am in a research mode, why are the 98 and 99 diesels so much quicker than the 97 or the 96 are these CDI's incognito or something better. I have yet to drive one either pre or post 98 may look around next weekend.
Thanks all Fareed: |

98/99 has a turbocharger. Did not know there was a 97 model and I'm not sure there was a 96 model. I know the 94/95 were not turbocharged.

12 or 24 valve?
Do the 98 & 99 engines have the same head setup ala' this 95 3.0 L, 6 cylinder?

Multi camshaft valve banks? Here's the rest of the car, nice looking ride! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1857450336 This one ain't too bad lookin' either. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1856850958 Last edited by Billybob; 09-09-2002 at 08:01 AM. |
