Are the seat box/spring assembly the same on 123/126 ? I have opportunity to pick a couple 123 seats complete, and I have a 85sd that could use box and pad

So are they the same box assembly & pad?

From what I recall they are the same, at least the spring box is IIRC.

The spring box is similar, but not identical.

You can do a search on the forum for this, but here's the main differences.

• w126 springs will be sligtly beefier in the front two corners
• w126 front two corners will also have foam tubes inside springs for more support
• seat box rails will need to be entirely changed between w126 and w123
