Gurkha, thanksfor that pic, would you be able to post one of the exchaust manifold? Just looking at my 240D there doesnt look like theres much room for a turbo under the intake manifold and near the mount.

Would you be able to post a pic of the exhaust manifold and the intake manifold used?

As an ex-owner of a 83 240D I can tell you that the engine bay on my Gurkha is far more cramped than the one on the 240D. You can easily put this engine there. Take a look at the attached pic.

Hello,
There is a pix a few posts back, it certainly looks like it will fit easily into a W123 RHD chassis. The torque would allow fitment of a 3.46 diff ratio.

180Nm between 2000-2400rpm, yes the 3.46 should work fine for that.
