Stiff steering, only turning right E320CDI

Turning the steering wheel to the right at idle is very stiff, turning left is smooth and normal. Bizarre. Without knowing the guts inside the rack, i assume a “spool” is bound up in one direction only. Is there a “flush” to free this up, or no other option but to replace the rack? I flushed with chf11s, it was much better for a few days, but now stiff right turn is back.

97209 Lubegard. I've not used it, just their ATF products and have been satisfied. Please report your findings if you choose this route.

Update…lubegard is a two part flush. Flushed with the big bottle and replaced with chf11s. Added small bottle. Initially still stiff with no perceptible improvement. My son drives this daily into boston. Over the next few days while im researching replacing the rack, son reports no steering issue anymore, so ill call the flush a success
