W123 manual sunroof sliders and feet

I'm doing maintenance on the manual sunroof on my 1983 300d as the drains were plugged up and the roof didn't open properly.

Now that I have it apart, it looks like some of the little plastic/felt doodads on the panel have gone missing. However I'm not 100% sure which pieces I need to replace and the diagrams I've found only help so much.

I'm wondering if anyone has a photo of the sunroof panel showing the plastic sliders ("jaws") and felt feet orientation in all four corners...or if they can describe the placements to me?

Currently I have two intact plastic sliders on the FL and FR (matching part # : 115-780-00-83) and no felt feet anywhere. I can't tell if the plastic sliders on the RL and RR should be exactly the same or if they're different (or if my model only needs 2?) I also am not sure if I need felt feet just in the front or also in the back.

One of my rollers is also busted -- it looks like the plastic has cracked off on one side, leaving only the metal. Honestly, I'm wondering if I can just wrap that roller in electrical tape or something so that its even with the other side.

Not sure if this is allowed in this forum but if anyone has extra doodads that they want to sell, they are outrageously priced on eBay etc so I'm in the market!

Thanks!

The lifting rollers are rubber wheels. If they look like plastic, they are obviously kaput. The felt parts rub against the wind deflector when opening and closing, and have nothing to do with the roof sliding on its tracks. All sliders are plastic. I can't remember if the fronts are the same as the rears, but I don't think so. I would talk to parts at the MB classic center in LA. They will be able to tell you, and if anyone has the rollers, which you sorely need, they will.

Okay, thanks - I'll try giving them a call this week.

Yeah, the rollers are definitely trashed - one of them is very dry plastic, the other is worn down to the metal. But the dry plastic one is still working. I think I'm going to try wrapping it in rubber electrical tape first (I found an old thread where someone else had done this successfully) because I really just want this to work okay for now - don't want to throw too much money at it until I fix a bunch of other issues. The plastic sliders, though, seem difficult to fabricate.

If like the motorized sunroof in my 1984 and 1985, the felt sliders are pricey, with people asking $100 for a set of used ones on ebay. Instead, I bought large heat shrink (~2.5"D) with a very high shrink ratio which I shrunk down to coat the feet. It gets pretty thick when shrunk so far. I have all the sunroof parts from a salvage 1983, incl. the large top frame, so may swap over parts in my cars.
