My thought exactly, he seems a dilettante about the older cars.
The build is interesting though.

Interesting to see, for sure. Not unlike how older military aircraft get newer technology applied to them, extending their service life. The B-52's for example, in service since the 1950's and still flying today. They've been upgraded several times with modern engines and modern avionics.

Doughnut spare is the great equilizer
That Would actually be interesting. The solutions people would probably come up with would be epic. It would probably also make it easier for entry level people.

Who tells you 225 is all you can fit under a r107?

Also interesting to see will be how that R107 chassis handles a motor more than double the power output of the originals....I think its a dumb project but to each their own...it defeats the purpose of owning an R107. The diesel conversion was pretty scary. Someone clearly knew enough to be dangerous but wasn't interested in a clean final product. I've seen much nicer diesel swaps into that series.

Can't believe he is undertaking a right hand conversion too, why not just find one in that configuration to begin with.

The liabilities involved with the final product would be.....significant.

That is what through me a loop as well. It sounds like he's doing it for a client too, who I assume will want a clean looking finished product. He's going to need to source a new dash and who knows what else to make it right hand drive. Starting with a RHD car seems like it would save a lot of hours.
