83' 300D - melted wires in dash
Hi All,
I recently inherited my late father's project and I was hoping for some guidance. He has the instrument cluster removed and the connector that hooks the electrical to it disassembled. I noticed that a few of the cables have been melted (pics attached) I have not been able to set my hands on the removed instrument cluster yet but I do have an exact donor car that I can get another set from. I was hoping that someone might have the wiring diagram as well wondering if anyone has experienced this before and if there are inherent things I need to be looking for? I am well versed in electronics but I also know there is someone out there with more knowledge than I have and asking the question is usually the smart option. The car is in excellent condition and I would like to honor my father by putting it back on the road Thanks in advance for any guidance |
