W210 front left lemforder control arms going NLA

None on fc p or parts geek, also the price has jumped up to $254 on pelican parts. This has me concerned. I was planning on rebuilding my W210's suspension, hopefully I can get parts before anything else becomes NLA.

Time to buy a shop press and ball joint/bushing tools instead of nice clothes.

In addition to a shop press, you will need various pieces of pipe , caliper pistons , old ball bearings to act as tooling. A better course of action at this point might be to have a shop press the parts out and in.

W210 parts are still likely obtainable by the dealer....but will likely cost quite a bit more

I found them on FCP Euro for $172 for front left lower control arm. I have a 99. Same suspension. The w210s you can still get plenty of stuff for, but they’re no spring chicken at 21 years old. They’re ancient cars to most people

I have found the factory control arms to be better made and rebushing them is your best choice.

Only if they are not corroded off, happens in snow states.

There's still tons of W210's on the road....I see them regularly....now W123/w126 I almost never see.....still occasional W124's too.
