Absolutely not. More fuel with less air = more smoke. Gasoline engines typically have a similar sensing system with EFI fuel systems, there's usually an aneroid somewhere that tells the ECU to lean out. This is also why N/A engines have less power the higher you go in altitude.

The ADA and ALDA work in similar ways. Lifting the plunger in the IP enriches the fuel mix. The lifting is performed by the aneroid bellows collapsing from increased pressure.
