Post A proper pedal of power ,a newer turbo install.

I finally realized my gains in power from a resourced turbo install.I located a very low mileage turbo at the yard and the new power gains Im here to say are very note worthy.A hit of the pedal from 35 to 75 mph gives the car that push needed if passing or pulling onto the highway. You will notice ,what I call ,a floating pillow of power , a happier pedal feel which new car owners back in the day must have known all too well.

I forgot to mention the turbo install involved cleaning out the intake via a dipping tank ,followed by new seals.A factory fresh turbo should be rebuilt which is a diy-able project if you venture onto the internet ,a good bench with excellent lighting is a must also .A was unable for time reasons to get my orig. turbo rebuilt but will order a kit and have it ready for the same replacement on my 85 300d in the next few months .

Do you happen to know whether there is a boost difference between the old and new turbo? I've seen threads on adjusting them back up to specs.
