Hello all, I went nuts and bought 2.5 inch white wall tires. Stock size.
What yall think? I imagine there will be many that dont like them.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Looks cool! It's not be for me but for you it looks great! (I'm too lazy to keep them clean).

I'm gonna get some for my 65 Pontiac though.

Looks awesome! Bettie has tires with a thin wide wall, this looks so much better. Where did you find these? I've looked for white walls before but am having a hard time locating a pair.

Ceristimo,
I them from a place called Calli Tire and Wheel. They are out in California. Way cheaper then buying from say Dimond back or coker. I paid 118 a tire.

Now you need some curb feelers.

White walls and complete white tires have come and gone, I've wondered if / when they will make a big comeback.

In the 50's there was a white will add on called " Port a wall " . This was a white rubber ring that was placed between the wheel and tire bead before inflation turning any tire into a white wall.

What’s the matter with the car I’m driving?
“Can’t you tell that it’s out of style?”
Should I get a set of white wall tires?
“Are you gonna cruise a miracle mile?
Nowadays you can’t be too sentimental
You best bet’s a true baby blue Continental”
Hot funk, cool punk, even if it’s old junk
It’s still rock and roll to me

On many cars, they look way out of place. However, on yours it is a great look.

Kind of adds to the dating of the car. Personally I like them and many people may ask you questions about them.

Matter of taste I suppose. You also sourced them well.

Again a matter of taste but I doubt the narrower white wall tires would have been as attractive. The posted picture is worth a thousand words. It may just be me as well but the overall tires look larger.
