If the cost of having a guy come out and remove the front and rear glass then come back later isn't too bad ill let them deal with it. but I also run the risk of them screwing up the trim and breaking the glass.
I don't think anyone you hire to remove the glass is going to guaranty against breakage. Glass is weakest at the edge, that means never pry on it, which concentrate forces at the edge with high chance of breakage. If you are installing new seals, then use a long window razor knife to cut out the old seal. Just take your time, cut a little at a time and till completely cut through (do not pry!) and lift the assembly out. The aluminum moldings come out easily without damage afterwards.

Replaced the clutch slave and what a difference it makes. The old one had a tear in its boot which is probably the root cause. The 1-2 shift doesn't grind anymore unless I really try to hot dog it. But that might go away once I replace the shifter bushings which are non existent. Wish I had remembered to order them with the slave.
