Help with chassis number ID

I need to identify my chassis number so i can order the correct brake booster vac line. Seems like there are three options.

I ordered this one and it's way too short: 1234307429

There are also these two:

1234301329
For models with chassis serial number through 164520. Cohline - Power Brake Booster Line; Brake Booster to Vacuum Pump; 1 Inline Vacuum Connection; 34 Inch Length
Brake booster to vacuum pump; California Cars; Up to 164506; Manufacturer Body Code: 123.130
Brake booster to vacuum pump; Federal Cars; Up to 164520; Manufacturer Body Code: 123.130

1234303929
For models with chassis serial number from 164521 through 202852.

My VIN number indicates that the second one would work -- but the stamp on the chassis by the radiator does say 123.130. So maybe it was a slightly earlier body used with a later vin?

I'm leaning towards 1234301329, especially because it sounds like it's longer at 34". Does anyone know the length of the second one, 1234303929?

The "chassis serial number" is the VIN number. Based on your photo and the VIN number on your stamp, the 2nd part number should be correct for your car (165720).

9/79 is the manufacture date. It would be a 1980 year model.

If it's too short, cut it and slip some hose over it to make it longer?

VINs changed in 1984 from 14 to 17 digits to include origination codes.fficeffice" />
Your current VIN, if you go to a Benz dealer or online would be:
WDB12313012165720
I have one the same year. This is how I know.

So I got it and it works. Seems a little long but that's fine. About 34" or a little longer depending on how you measure it.
