Well, there goes an entire Friday night for me replacing light bulbs for the instrumentation. All I wanted to do was get the shifter light to work, but little did I know that it was lit by fiber optics. I ended up pulling the entire center stacks' full of stuff and wouldn't you know it, the bulb for the fiber optic hub (spider) was not connected into it. I replaced all 5 of the ACC and fiber optic hub bulbs on that one strand and put it all back together. I'd like to gently and slowly throttle the engineer who designed the ACC bracket and wood facia that goes on top of it. What a pain it is to keep having to align and tighten the 2 8mm bolts that hold it in and then try and see if the wood aligns on top properly. Glad they fixed that in Gen 2. Anyway, now I have a lit shifter (albeit very dim with age) along with the vent sliders and accessory switches that all feed off of the spider hub.
