If you call the dealer parts department with your VIN they will be able to help you.

A metric ruller might help. Copper crush washers can often be reused if heated red hot and cooled off. Wire brushing them by hand removes oxidation. However, that cannot be too dostored to reuse them.

Can't do much with the Aluminum ones. You can some times reuse them anyway and have it work but that is about it for them.

This is not a recommend to buy parts there (nothing wrong with them but we are not supposed to recommend the compitition) but some places like auto haus az have a misc. section where they list the crush washers and other stuff by size. You need to plug in your make model and year and you could use sizes and part numbers as a reference.

You could take the old ones to a Hydraulic Shop and see if they can match something up. If thei do be sure to record the part numbers so you can get more when you need them.

If you are speaking of the large Crush Washer on the older W123s Filter Housings the size is mentioned in at least 2 threads.

Lightly sand your current ones and reuse them.

Update your signature so we all know what exactly you're working on. Nobody can help you without knowing what you have.

You can heat the aluminum ones with a propane torch to soften (anneal) them just like copper, just don't heat it as hot or it will melt, then sand any gouges flat and re-use. That works every time for me. The banjo bolt washers are 12 mm i.d. from memory.

This thread will have the info you need

How to seal a W123 Fuel Filter Banjo Bolt?

There is part number 615-092-20-08. This # uses 2 "O" rings on the Filter Bolt.
And no metal washer under the Bolt head.

The other part number is 615-092-01-08.
This one uses only one rubber "O" ring on the bolt. and a metal washer under the head of the bolt.

DO NOT use a metal washer under the Bolt Head on the 615-092-20-08.

The part # will be on the top of the filter casting assy.

Here is the Google search I did.

In a pinch, most local parts stores are now carrying the copper crush washers in various sizes. Tell them the size and "brake system" or they will often give you a blank look. Usually found in the HELP parts section.

Belmetric is a good source for metric hardware that may be hard to find locally.

Have you seen any sources for the Cummins except the dealer or Cummins? (00 24V 4x4 LWB NV4500)

Those washers are bonded sealing washers or "Stat-o-seals".

A hydraulic supply house should have the SAE sizes though metric will be a bit less common. I'd go with the aluminum variety over steel as al offers a bit more sealing surface since it is soft.

These are great for hard to seal situations due to imperfect sealing surfaces and may work when copper or aluminum seal will not. Highly recommended! I don't remember the source of the ones I had since it was a long time ago that I bought them. Just did a search and found these and these look superior on paper. I may buy some to give it a try. What's nice about these is they can be re-used I think.

Question

I have to look into this as I too have had problems making the bolt seal tight after replacing the secondary uel filter .

Can I use the '85 bolt in my earlier filter head or must needs grab the entire '85 filter assy. ? .

I just passed on one in a Junk Yard , they crushed the (lightly wrecked) car right after I finished .

Dammit .

The earlier filter head is not machined inside for the upper O-ring.
