I have the Chrome grill surround if you need one. Chrome is not perfect but not dinged up.

It took me 8 hours to get th)e hood open on the 85 190D after my sister broke the hood release cable. I ended up removing the bumper, removing the plastic shield that encloses the latch pivot under the core support, and operating it with a large screwdriver.

I was SO close to just putting my foot through the grill and calling it done, but I had gotten that grill a few months back from the yard and they never have good grills.
