My car needs a new owner

My 85 300SD is feeling bad cause I just drive the new one now..
Does anyone know of someone who needs a good car to drive?
She's still pretty but you know, when you get some age on you, you have "history". Like the time my son had her in Socorro and a trailer backed into the right front. Fixed better than new but the cost was to give her a salvage title. Big deal, no one can tell it ever happened.
Recently I took her to Discount Tire and asked what the best riding tire was. Bought a nice new set of Michelins.
Anyway, if you know anyone who would make a good home for her, let me know.

Walking isn't a lost art: one must, by some means, get to the garage.

Here ya go.

http://www.peachparts.com/shopforum/mercedes-cars-sale/370850-1985-300sd.html

I think I am the 3rd owner. 302,600 miles. Exterior in good condition. The sunroof is faded. Has a salvage title due to an accident several years ago, but I would challenge anyone to find evidence. Anyway, it's the right front corner that someone backed into. A/C is 134 and cools good unless it sits for a time, then it takes a few minutes to get cooled off again. In one of the pics I took this am it is at 43F and it's 85F outside.
I have driven to Las Vegas, Colorado Springs, Las Cruces, etc without a problem.
Pretty new Michelins. Installed Rebuilt injectors and glow plugs recently. Battery is less than a year old. Original Becker radio. Cruise control works fine. Right rear window needs work.
$2500. Located 25 miles south of Albuquerque. PM me or text/call: five oh five 259 27six six.

Looks like the one in our garage.

Smile I like it

I like it and promise to give it a very good, loving and permanent home! And i'm only one state away, so you could even come visit, LOL. Trouble is, I cannot afford your asking price....... unless you maybe have need for a small woodchipper or other outdoor power equipment as partial trade

Salvage titles are easy to end up with when you drive low sales value vehicles. I have 1 salvage & 1 that should be salvage because the rusty trunk will cost as much to repair as the accident that caused the salvage on the other car. O perhaps another way to look at is that neither deserves a salvage.

I'd be interested but wife says the next vehicle will be new enough that I won't have to repair 1 car to get it driving in order to take the other one down. I'm doing ball joints on 1 car to have while I do the heater core on the truck so I can do the seats on the other car so I can do the....

I've had two people very interested but panicked at the salvage title.. I guess they look at it as serious, but like you said, old cars are likely to end up that way with any minor damage...

I'm interested at your selling price. Especially if you're willing to deliver. I'm in Tucson.

Send me a PM too, unless you've already cracked a deal.
