1991 300d W124 OM602 5 cyl ...
Head at machine shop and they are having difficulty finding the spec on the acceptable range for valve stem height.

I found in my factory manual the valve face setback spec of .1 mm minimum to a max of 1.0 mm but nowhere can I find the stem height spec.

The application is a brand new cylinder head and all new valves

any input appreciated
