Are the sticky's hidden from search? Injector rebuild

I am sure there has to be a sticky on this but I don't seem to be pulling it up.

What all do i need to do a proper rebuild on my injectors?

The best way to find stuff in the forums is to use Google as your search engine and not the forum search functionality. The key is to use the "site:" keyword.

For example, if you wanted to search for how to rebuild injectors on a 617 engine, you could use the search term
site:peachparts.com injector rebuild 617

You can use multiple search terms to get really specific. This is also a great way to search for images that have been uploaded to PeachParts.

When you do the Google search, click on images, and there will be all sorts of pictures. each one gets you into various sites.

I agree with most of the below site except for Myself I used a Glass Plate with grinding compound to substitute for a Lapping Plate. Later I bought a Lapping Plate but have not had to build any more Injectors.
I used 600 Grit Aluminum Oxide Grinding Compound. There are some who say you should 1200 or higer. The Higher Numbers are finer grinding compounds.
You can use Water or Oil to mix with the grinding compound.
