W123 T-shirt!
Hello Benz friends
I'm an active member on benzworld (W123 and W210 forums) but new to this site, though it looks like it will be extremely useful as I attempt to rehab a forgotten 78 euro 300D. A few weeks ago I had the thought as I was trying to accelerate from a stop that it's ironic that it's called a 123 when it's so ridiculously slow. Hey wait a minute, that would make a great T-shirt! I'm a huge fan of a small gearhead shirt company called blipshift. They have original designs, two per week, and are made to order; after the sale ends designs are no longer available unless they are reprinted. I probably have about a dozen of their shirts. Since I'm not a graphic designer, I submitted my idea (rather than a complete design) and it has been realized by Ben Van Antwerp, a freelance artist who has done several of my favorites. I think it turned out great. I don't make any commission from the shirt sales but I will be especially proud if the design ends up selling well. The shirt is available now until Thursday at 10pm, when the next design is revealed.
