P/N for leaking hard line right after Clutch MC

Hello again, I've recently discovered that the threads coming out of my clutch master cylinder's output is getting wet no matter how many times I wipe it. it's a very slow leak since it doesn't come back for a few days (undriven) I'm afraid that it will be a huge problem once I start driving it.

I guess this is part number 44 on this diagram, anybody know where to get a replacement for this or any similar experiences? perhaps remedies?

Thats a dealer only part. You will need to give them your VIN. Used is your only other choice. You may need a new master cylinder.

this is a brand new master cylinder, but a vin likely won't help since the car was originally an automatic.

I asked the dealer for the same pipe for my W124. The part they sell is a straight pipe cut and flared to the correct length with the fittings at both ends. Its up to the buyer to bend it to shape. The pipe diameter is standard 1/4" brake line you'll find in any auto parts store but the fittings on the ends have a weird metric size thread on them.

I wonder if I could cut the existing, likely scored, flare off and re-flare it if I knew what kind of flare it was, I somehow recall it being a single flare but that could just be what the PO did

Hey there, the part has an MSRP of $61, so tell your dealer to stop screwing you, or google that part number and find someone who will sell it online.
