Been debating on whether to buy a new Rack Damper for my Loping Idle.
Today it became an easy decision at $29.25

Dealer price is now showing $37.50, Bobby at rtpartsco is at 29.25 plus tax in Florida and or shipping unless you can pickup at their shop in Tampa.
Small OEM Parts Reseller that always gives me great customer service.

I ordered today; supposed to be ready for pickup on Thursday or Friday.

I was somewhat new to this forum and after the Hot Engine was hot had that idle shaking a looping. I when by what I read and bought the Rack Damper Bolt and found it did very little to help.

Adjusting the Valves and rebuilding the Injectors got rid of most of the issue.

Replacing the Motor and Transmission Mounts got rid of nearly all of the rest of the issue.

I also found I had a small Air leak and fixed that.

After that the Governor Idle Pin/Rack Dampener Screw/Bolt was able to remove a little bit more shaking.

My conclusion is that the Rack Dampener Screw is made to remove some extra shaking from an Engine that is working within the factory spec and not a cure for the other causes of shaking.
