finished mounting OM616 radiator, i had to remove fan so i guess ill be using something small electrical in the front. any of you have advice on choosing fan switch, auto (temp switch) or manual? i think ill use manual switch to avoid auto temp switch failure and problems with high temp.

That's going to be a really clean swap when you're done. Wish all of mine had fit behind the grill!
Are those E-Code headlights I see? I went with a basic electric fan controller. Would be easy enough to use the fan controller and wire in a manual over ride. I had planned to do exactly this and just wound up not needing the manual over ride - even 95 deg out she ran fine and stayed cool.

went really productive today, got to wire up my temporary manual automatic transmission
the beta version of throttle cable holder hooked cooling lines from the scrap pile of leftover tubes from 3vze and othera various mopeds/motorbikes also i did short test ride an i am very happy with my swap, torque converter revs it a bit higher on the uphill but it is ok Toyota 4runner OM616 first ride - YouTube |
