What is purpose of plastic injector line brackets?
Looking at my OM602....what is the purpose of the white plastic brackets on the hard injector lines? Is it simply for rigidity and dampening the effects of vibration? Mine came back from the shop with one missing so it made me curious.

You are correct. Although I doubt one missing will cause a problem, take them all off and the hard lines will break at the ends after a while (personal experience).

They keep the lines rigid as the vibration can crack/damage them.

Well, there's only one connecting lines 1 and 2 (at least on my 91) and that's the one missing from my 92. So I need to get that back on there.

yes - you definitely need them otherwise you will be buying new injector lines.. pricey compared to the 2 dollar clips.
