AC manifold hose seized??

Trying to do the AC in my gf's 300D and the upper hose with the Schrader valve is not coming loose from the line that threads onto it. I have a 27mm on the valve side and a spud wrench on the to car side and it will not budge!

I really hope this is not normal. Help... I've been soaking it in PB and nothing. I'm really frustrated with this damn thing

Not that it will help you now, but the safest way to loosen those fittings is to align the two wrenches so that you can squeeze them together in the palm of your hands. Since the wrenches are almost parallel, that removes any tendency to twist one of the lines.

I was doing that but somehow I suck at working on cars and twisted it. New hose is on order... I'm going with it to my Benz guru's shop to put the compressor in this week.
