Removing W126 headlight assemblies....

To anyone who's swapped out headlights, how do you get access to the bottom two bolt, in order to remove the assembly?

I looked from underneath, but I'd need like an 18" extension to reach.....

Do you remove the small lateral panels underneath the headlights(where the wipers are mounted)?

Just thought I'd ask before I started ripping into it.....

Thanks in advance,

PK

Yes, you remove the small trim under the headlight. Phillips screw on the front, 8mm bolt on the side accessible when you remove the turn signal.
