That may be so, but he needs to work on his delivery. Then again, digital communication leaves a lot to be desired sometimes and maybe I just read his post wrong. It came off as rude.

I have something like 18k posts on Pelican helping people with all kinds of stuff including lots of Porsche tech info from my ~35 years of owning and working on the cars + working at the dealer when the old ones were new. I also have a fair amount of MB technical knowledge, (much of it learned from places like this), but I'm not familiar with the fuel delivery system on the OM603. I owned one for a while and it was a fantastic car but all I did on it was some fairly routine maintenance and minor parts swapping, such as the VCV unit on the pump.

I know that there is a wealth of knowledge here. I'm sorry to Mr. Hitman if misread your intent, but I'll definitely stick with the polite people if possible.

Sometimes we get frustrated with repeating the same things 64,000 times over. It's not right to unload on any one person............but, after 10 years it happens.

Don't take it personally.

OM603 IP questions:

Fuel filters, tank strainer, algae in the tank, clogged tank vent, leaking delivery valves letting air in, injector pop pressure off....


Hmmmmm I would start from the left and work my way to the right.

Also, define " severe lack of power" please.
