broke my over boost protection sender
PeachParts FastLane Mercedes Parts Store
What does that mean as far as driveability? Anyone have a good used one they want to sell?

It means nothing unless the wastegate fails allowing the turbo to boost beyond 1.0-1.1 bar. At that point a working overboost switch will signal the solenoid to cut the boost signal to the ALDA to protect the engine. A properly functioning wastegate should ensure boost never goes that high.
I believe a 617 switch will work in your 603. Is your ALDA still in place? Sixto 87 300D^2 Last edited by sixto; 08-02-2012 at 07:42 PM. |
