Anybody tried these American made motor mounts?

I stumbled across this company's video while searching for motor mounts for my 98 E300D. The video seems impressive and I would prefer to purchase American made. The price is substantially less than OEM or Lemfoerder, at $35's something per each side. If I discount my grunt work I could easily replace the mounts more frequently if required for the price differential.

Any thoughts?

I have installed Anchor motor and transmission mounts on a number of non-MB vehicles. NONE were made in the USA. Most were from Korea. NONE appeared to be of quality equal to an OE part.

I bought Anchor brand engine mounts... they came in a box marked made in China. the mount was also marked made in China. I used them awayway, they lasted about 4 months til I replaced them with some used OEM ones form pick and pull.

Mine have held up in the 240D for a couple years. But your mounts may be designed considerably differently. Mine were made in India.

Maybe I misunderstood the video. I was under the impression the manufacturer was in the US. Video leads you to believe they are more reliable than competitive products. Perhaps I will contact them directly and ask about the country of origin.

Don't confuse quality marketing with quality manufacturing.

Welcome to the dishonest world of advertising!

The only USA-made motor mount I know of, that will fit MBZ cars, is Karlyn (I think that's the correct spelling). I have been using a pair for about 3 years now without any problems.

I'm sure Anchor makes some mounts in the US. But not for the applications that are priced that competitively.

FYI, I replied to your 350SDL thread also. I REALLY need 1 fuel injector!

Thanks

OK. I went back and reviewed the video, and then called the co. I was referred to their tech support dept. and talked with Mike M. He said that all of their mounts meet OEM specs, but that at any given time the country of origin could vary among US, India, Korea, China, Taiwan, and another that I can't recall.

I also see that the video I was referring to didn't actually make it to the post. Hopefully this link will work better.

Just for the record I have no relationship to Anchor and nothing to be gained by their success or failure.
