Found a company out of Sweden that makes performance springs for the 123. The name is Dalhems. They have actually gone through the trouble to make different springs for all the different 123's just as Mercedes originally did. The URL is below. In my case I have a gas powered 123 and the springs lower the car 25mm or about .9". I will probably go with these springs and some Bilstein sport shocks if I can find them for the 123. I have also posted some other URL's of peformance oriented 123's.

Any new sources?
I want my car to ride stiffer. I plan on getting new lowering springs, and shocks as well this summer.

Stiffer ? Not a problem.... MB planned for this... particularly for " countries with rough roads".... I think I have posted part of the page out of the shop manual with the chart which shows the amount of deflection on springs with certain part numbers... so the less movement with the 1000 ( something) means the spring is stiffer.... it appears they make the springs then measure the size of the ' wire' and the deflection.... then put the appropriate part number on it....

Stiffer
A stiffer spring setup can give a much firmer ride, not the soft ride most W123s have (especially with 20+ YO springs).
0.9" height differential will not be noticable. It may even sit higher than it sits now (with old springs). If prerformance handling is your aim, also look at heavier sway bars, which will stiffen the body roll. While you are there, re-do the bushings and ball joints too.
