When I bought mine from them about 1.5 years ago the O-rings came in a clear plastic Box with Square Bins. When I opened the box and took a good look I found they sizes were mostly mixed together. Thanks that they are putting them on a better Box now.

People snub these "assortments" because they do not want to pay the $8-$15 to buy them. But, when your Car is sitting in the Drive Way and you need only one O-ring to get it going and you have no idea where you could buy that 1 O-ring The O-ring assortment becomes real valuable.

I also have the below is sold at the local Autozone
Dorman 172 piece O-ring Value Pack #799-450

seems like a good deal, but how sure are you of the material of the orings? The Chinese knock off stuff could be made out of anything soft and black that they found along the side of the road. I guess its ok for easy to replace stuff, but I certainly wouldnt use them on something difficult to replace. would be nice if someone would dip a few of them in some of the claimed fluids to see if they are indeed nitrile

Even the Dorman O-ring kit is made in China.

If you are replacing the O-rings on your Fuel Injection Pump get the Factory Ones or the Viton ones.
If you are replacing Fuel Filter or Oil Filter O-rings the quality is not as important.

made in China is not fundamentally a quality issue. We make products there all the time, but they are stringently controlled and materials are certified and the engineering and material selection is done in the states.

agreed, fuel filter may be OK, but I still wouldnt want to be stuck on the side of the highway with a melted oring of dubious provinance

I'm replacing my compressor, receiver/drier, & expansion valve.

Does this O-ring kit have the replacements I need?

Toss the o-rings if you don't trust them, but that's a nice case.
