Will a differential from an 82 300SD work on an 84 300DT?

I am pretty sure it will. Gonna need to figure out the speedo if they are different ratios.

IF the 84 had abs (VERY VERY VERY UNLIKELY) it'll have a sensor in it the 82 would not. aside from that the differences are in the outer cover. so keep the cover with the car. also keep the axle spacers with the differential.
